Our story
Six years across the value chain.
2019
Econaut S.A.S BIC founded in Bogotá under Colombia's BIC legal framework, with industrial hemp as core operational focus.
2021
Colombian Ministry of Justice cultivation licenses granted, establishing legal foundation for the full value chain.
2022
Cultivation operation in Cumaribo, Vichada, formally added to the licensed footprint. Industrial-scale cultivation begins.
2023
Cultivar registry obtained with the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA). Genetics validated for Colombian conditions.
2025
First pilot batches of long fiber, short fiber and hurd validated against laboratory specifications. Cotton-hemp 60/40 blend produced.
2026
Naut Fiber & Biomaterials launches as dedicated vertical. LCA under preparation; B-Corp certification process initiated.
